Knauf Insulation DriTherm Cavity Slab 37 delivers dependable thermal performance for external full-fill masonry cavity walls. Manufactured from water-repellent glass mineral wool using plant-based ECOSE Technology, it has a thermal conductivity of 0.037W/mK to help retain heat and improve building efficiency. Its non-combustible composition also provides the highest Euroclass A1 reaction to fire classification.
Designed for simple installation, the flexible 65mm slabs accommodate slight substrate imperfections and fit closely together to minimise unwanted air gaps. They friction fit securely between wall ties without retaining discs and are BBA certified for all exposure zones, including severe areas.
Perfect for use in buildings up to 12m high in any exposure zone, these DriTherm Cavity Slabs can also be used in multi-storey applications up to 25m in height. The British Board of Agrment (BBA) has certified them for use in all exposure zones, including extremely severe environments. They will not transmit moisture by capillary action across the cavity or below the damp proof course level, nor will they transmit water to the inner leaf.
