Lead is an important building material used primarily in roofing as coverings, joints, and weatherproofing. Lead flashing is a very common way to use it, which is where joints are sealed.

Lead comes in many different codes, and each one represents the lead’s thickness. The higher the code, the thicker the lead. We stock all lead code from code 3 all the way up to 8. Thinner lead flashing is often used around gutters and smaller areas of a roof, while thick flashing is generally used on older and larger buildings.
