Mark McgregorCedral is a leading brand in cladding manufacturing. Originally branded as Eternit, the company name changed in 2020. Cedral has over 100 years of experience in the production of fibre cement products, focusing on quality, longevity, and a wide range of products.
Fibre cement is the specialist material used to make Cedral’s external cladding. But what makes it fit for purpose? Thanks to its composition of sand, cement, water, and synthetic and cellulose fibres, it is extremely durable and weather resistant. Cedral cladding is also Class 0 and EN 13501-1 fire performance classified to A2-s1, d0, which is one of the best industry ratings. It is also resistant to wrapping and rotting.
Cedral offers three main ranges of fibre cement cladding. Cedral Click cladding is designed to fit flush to the building via a tongue and groove installation. Cedral lap cladding is installed so that the planks overlap each other, and Cedral board is a seamless covering for fitting around roof edges and facades, with a range of sizes available.
